Taylor Swift’s latest Tumblr letter to Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta is causing some turmoil between the two men. According to E! News, Braun is “frustrated” with Borchetta over the whole situation.
“Scooter is frustrated because his name is being dragged in the mud," a source explained. “He doesn't run Big Machine or have operational control of company. He hasn't taken part in these negotiations.”
The source also added that Braun has attempted to reach out to Swift, but she has yet to return his calls. Earlier this week Swift posted a letter alleging that Braun and Borchetta have made it so she’s unable to perform her old music during an upcoming AMAs performance.
“Guys, it’s been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year’s ceremony,” she wrote in the letter. “I’ve been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I’m not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I’m allowed to next year.”
E! News’s source also said that Braun is not happy about his current situation with Swift saying, “This fight with Taylor is not something Scooter agrees with.”
