It seems it's not enough for Savannah Guthrie to be a Today show anchor, attorney and children's author. Now, she's adding executive producer to her long list of accomplishments.

The 51-year-old mother of two recently announced that her best-selling children's book "Princesses Wears Pants" has been developed into a 14-episode TV series on Netflix titled Princess Power. The book, which Savannah wrote with clinical psychologist Allison Oppenheim, is a fairytale-inspired story that focuses on female empowerment and showing girls that what they do is so much more important than what they look like.

Savannah, who produced the show with Drew Barrymore, dropped the exciting news that folks can now watch her latest project. "What a day! So excited to launch Princess Power on @netflix. Streaming TODAY!" she wrote on January 30.

Naturally, Today show fans couldn't stop sharing heartwarming sentiments applauding the NBC star's latest endeavor.

"Congrats to you! What a great message for everyone! Lots of love 🤍," one person commented on Instagram. "So so proud of [you] my queen! This will bring joy to so many [people] ❤️❤️," another added. "This is so cool! Can’t wait to watch!!! 💖," a different follower said.

What's more, fellow Today show co-stars also took to the comments section with sweet messages. "You princess..you!!! Love this! ❤️," Jenna Bush Hager wrote. "Amazing!!!! Congratulations!!!" Dylan Dreyer added. "So so happy!!!! It’s beautiful on so many levels!!!! 💗💗," Sheinelle Jones chimed in.

The series, which features celebrities like Tan France, Rita Moreno and Andrew Rannells, follows the stories of princess friends from four different Fruitdoms — Blueberry, Kiwi, Pineapple and Raspberry — as they each use their special talents to work together to make their worlds a better place.

When asked to elaborate on the meaning behind the book, Savannah told the Today website that female friendship is a pillar of the new show. "Female friendship is really the highlight and hallmark of the series,” she shared with the outlet. “It's not one princess — it's a team of princesses."
