'Sasuke's Story' Receives a North America Release Date
As the manga and anime of the beloved Naruto franchise continues on through Boruto, certain pivotal events of the past have yet to be properly explored, leaving room for the creation of its Retsuden novel series in 2019 which focuses on Team 7 ninjas Kakashi, Naruto, and Sasuke. Following a domestic release in Japan, Viz Media has now announced that "Sasuke's Story" will be arriving in English later this year.
Set in the period after the Fourth Ninja War, the novel describes the moment Sasuke proposes to Sakura and explores their joint adventures as a couple. Below is the official synopsis for Sasuke Retsuden: The Uchiha Descendants and the Heavenly Stardust:
"Sasuke goes to the Astronomy Institute of Research, far away from the Land of Fire. In order to find traces of the Rikudo Sennin, he joins Sakura on this journey and begins a secret investigation. However, a life-or-death plan is already in place! The married couple must take on the challenges that come with this surprising research,"
Sasuke's Story is set to release on November 22.
Back in October 2021 VIZMEDIA announced that the Retsuden Novels will be receiving an English release.
