Sarah Silverman Has a Hilariously Well-Reasoned Explanation for the Type of Porn She's Into

It actually makes a lot of sense.

As far as your porn taste goes, there's sometimes no determining why you're into what you're into. You just are, and that's cool. Unless you're Sarah Silverman.

The comedian has put a surprising amount of thought into what X-rated videos she watches—and her reasoning makes a lot of sense.

In an Instagram post, she shared a screenshot of her recent Google searches, and a few definite themes emerged. One was that she's been having recurring dreams about pooping in public. She still hasn't figured that one out. But she can explain the other search term in there: "guy f*cks pillow, verbal."

"In my defense: I can't watch regular porn anymore (whatever that is) because I worry about the young women in it," she wrote. "But I like when the guy says really dirty rude talk. So I found this whole genre of guys fucking their mattresses or pillows and talking really dom shit but no one gets hurt. Look we're all pervs I'm just trying to be responsible."

She has a point: There's a lot of sketchy stuff going on in the porn industry. Though some women enthusiastically create and star in adult videos—power to them!—other women (and men) get roped into doing things they didn't sign up for.

If Silverman wants to find masturbation material her conscience feels better about, she might want to check out Make Love Not Porn, Lust Cinema, or another site dedicated to treating women as more than objects. A lot of them are paid, but free porn tends to be more ethically questionable.

Or, she can stick to guys dirty-talking to pillows. Whatever works.
