As Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker wore many outfits that fans will never forget — from John Galliano's newspaper dress to her backwards Chanel shirt. But perhaps most notable was the look she wore during the show's opening credits: a white tiered tutu that hit just above the knee and was paired with a pink tank top and strappy sandals.

Two decades later, SJP revisited Carrie's nostalgic ensemble while on the set of the SATC reboot on Friday, and gave it a modern-day update. Rather than a mini version, the actress opted for an of the moment maxi length, and ditched her stilettos in favor of black and white booties. She paired the skirt with a striped shirt and a sequined Fendi bag.

Her hair was left down and in voluminous curls that dropped past her shoulders.

Earlier this month, Parker teased the skirt's revival on Instagram. "Now and then. X, SJ," she wrote alongside a video of herself from the waist down twirling in the sheer tutu.

Back in January it was officially revealed that a SATC reboot was coming to HBO Max, and that Carrie (SJP), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) would be returning for another chapter. Samantha (Kim Catrall), however, will not be back.

"Just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave," HBO's Casey Bloys told TVLine of Catrall's exit from the series. "Friendships fade, and new friendships start. So I think it is all very indicative of the real stages, the actual stages of life … They're trying to tell an honest story about being a woman in her 50s in New York. So it should all feel somewhat organic, and the friends that you have when you're 30, you may not have when you're 50."
