Sarah Jessica Parker Is the Epitome of Grace in a Rosy Pink Tulle Gown

Sarah Jessica Parker is pulling style inspiration from the '60s.

Last night, the Sex and the City star headed to the red carpet premiere of Plaza Suite, a Broadway revival of the 1969 comedy by Neil Simon, in which Parker stars alongside her husband, Matthew Broderick.

She tapped Prabal Gurung for the occasion, who concocted a custom cape dress befitting of starlets of the Swinging Sixties. The New York City-based designer crafted a rosy pink gown with a sweetheart neckline out of crepe back satin, which was layered under a tulle embroidered cape. Parker wore the custom look with diamond stud earrings and strappy silver sandals.

Broderick, who also attended the premiere, posed for photos with Parker while wearing a dark gray suit with a green polka-dot tie.

An understated pink seems to be Parker's color of the hour as of late.

She wore a similar blush shade in February, when she flipped the switch to illuminate the Empire State Building for the landmark's ceremonial Valentine's Day lighting. At the time, she wore a bedazzled pink, blue, and black vintage coat with a sparkly silver blazer and an ankle-length blush dress.

Before that, she channeled Carrie Bradshaw for the December 2021 premiere for the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That..., where she wore a gray evening gown with a pink tulle skirt, custom-made by Oscar de la Renta's Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia. She paired the dress with custom SJP Collection pink satin pumps, which featured studs going down the back.
