It’s so easy to style.

Sarah Jessica Parker has been serving up too many good looks to count, including the shoes she’s been styling for decades, sheer corset gowns, and over-the-top hats. It’s all thanks to the Sex and the City spinoff series, And Just Like That…, which has been ardently filming all over New York City. (So, are we gonna talk about Aiden’s return or what?) Though, Parker’s most recent look doesn’t have to do with Carrie Bradshaw at all.

Arriving at the set out of costume, Parker wore a comfortable V-neck shirt, which was safety pinned shut. She clutched onto her belongings sans purse—relatable, right?—and donned cream, pointed-toe boots. It was her pants, though, that made me run to the internet to find spot-on lookalikes.

Parker’s jeans-alternative skipped restrictive, heavy fabric, opting for breezy material that billowed with each step. A closer look revealed slight ruching at the waistline for peak comfort and practical side pockets. TL,DR? They’re comfy but totally chic.

I’m all about the pajama-like bottoms, relying on the loose pants like clockwork in the summer. How can I not when flowy separates, like the Petal & Pup Eleanor Linen Pant, boast wide legs and an overall polished look. Plus, the lightweight textile keeps me cool no matter how hot it is—and it can get pretty darn hot here in NYC.

I’m not alone in my love of the spacious palazzo pants; Kendall Jenner and Anne Hathaway have styled similar versions this month, with Amazon shoppers and editors just as obsessed. Perhaps it’s because of how easy Parker-inspired bottoms are to style. Wear them with Sam Edelman fisherman sandals and a crochet top from Madewell for a park-ready ‘fit, or dress them up with mesh Steve Madden slingback heels and a sexy Free People bodysuit for date night. You can even use such pants as a coverup over a strapless J.Crew one-piece swimsuit and throw on a straw hat for ultimate vacation vibes.
