Despite receiving low scores, Sean Spicer avoided another elimination on Dancing with the Stars on Monday night — and it may be thanks in part to his former White House colleague, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Speaking on Fox & Friends on Tuesday, Sanders revealed that her family is rooting for Spicer to win the ABC dancing competition. Prior to leaving the White House to become a Fox News commentator, Sanders followed in Spicer’s footsteps as Trump’s press secretary.

And while Spicer’s casting on DWTS caused an uproar when it was announced, he’s got Sanders’s support.

"Between my husband and I, my parents, my mom has a text chain that is aggressively supporting Sean,” Sanders, the daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, said. “So, we are fully behind him.”

Calling her family "big watchers of Sean every week,” she went on to praise his latest performance, a Viennese waltz dedicated to his wife.

"I thought last night was incredible and so special that he dedicated that to his wife," Sanders said. "And, I know firsthand how difficult it is to have the role he had at the White House with his family.”

She went on to praise him for being “enthusiastic” in spite of the controversy over his casting.

"You have to love how excited he is, how enthusiastic he is,” she said. “You know, there were a lot of people that didn't want him on the show and pushed to boycott. I'm actually proud of the network for keeping him in there and letting him really get out there and have a good time. And, I think he's shown that you can push back and do it with a smile.”

But while her family is “maxing out our votes” for Spicer’s benefit, she dismissed rumors that she might join the show herself.

“I think that’s the extent of the involvement we’re going to have with Dancing with the Stars,” she shared.

Last week Spicer got a shout-out from another former co-worker: President Trump.
