Sandra Bullock could not be happier in her two-year relationship with boyfriend Bryan Randall, but she's still reportedly "hesitant" about taking the next step forward.

The Oscar-winning actress has definitely thought about marriage again, Us Weekly reports, but her traumatic divorce from serial adulterer Jesse James has made her incredibly cautious when it comes to walking down the aisle another time.

"She went through a great deal of heartbreak after Jesse," a close pal told Us. "And she's scarred by it to this day."

According to the source, the "Ocean's Eight" star is mulling a decision to hold a secret ceremony that would serve more as a symbolic ceremony rather than a lawful union.

"Sandy is a bit hesitant about getting married because of the legalities," the source said. "It gets complicated."

But it was friend Jennifer Aniston who reportedly supported Bullock's idea to hold an intimate ceremony for guests and not tell them in advance, something that Aniston and her husband Justin Theroux did when they got married.

"Jen was saying, 'What's the difference? He's always living here, he's already your old man,'" an insider revealed of a private conversation at Bullock's home in Beverly Hills.

And she's right: Randall is "one of the nicest guys ever" and "takes care of her in all of the right ways."

"He's the guy who will always get the door or get her jacket and help put it on," her friend told Us of Bullock's man, who will often steal her away from the kids for late lunches or early dinners. "She feels loved and appreciated all of the time."

Not only that, but the stand-up guy has also become a father figure to Bullock's children, son Louis, 7, and daughter Laila, 5, though he has not officially adopted them.

"Bryan has fully stepped up and embraced the dad role," a source told Us. "He is 100 percent there for Louis and Laila and wonderful with them in every way. Sandy feels incredibly fortunate and blessed that she is sharing the parenting journey with Bryan."

Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall were recently spotted packing on some rare PDA during a public outing, which you can see in the video above.
