Salma Hayek Almost Got Seriously Hurt During "Magic Mike's Last Dance" Rehearsals Because She Couldn't Remember If She Was Wearing Underwear

Salma Hayek recently found herself in a scary situation — and it was all because she couldn't remember if she was wearing underwear!

While she and costar Channing Tatum were rehearsing for Magic Mike’s Last Dance, the duo were practicing a stunt that ended up going wrong.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Salma explained that the "dangerous" stunt didn't even make it to the film.

"You know, there’s one part that’s not in [the film] where I’m upside down and my legs had to be somewhere," Salma shared.

She continued, "But upside down, one loses sense of direction, and I didn’t do what I was supposed to do, so in the rehearsal, I went, like, head down, almost hit my head."

Thankfully, Channing stopped her from falling, but he caught her in a precarious position.

"He held on to my pants, but I was really concerned because my pants were going away, and I couldn’t remember if I had underwear or not in this moment,” Salma admitted.

Because she was concerned about her underwear, Salma says she "held on to the pants" instead of putting her hands up to protect her head.

"He's like, 'Put your hands up,' and I'm like, 'No, no, no, no,'" Salma said.

Finally, everyone else in the studio stepped in to help Salma safely get down, but Channing was confused by the whole thing.

"He said, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ I said, ‘What’s wrong with me? You nearly killed me!'" she joked.
