Remember Andy King? The Fyre Festival event producer that was willing to "take one for the team" (i.e. suck dick) for Evian bottles-yeah, not even Fiji or Smart Water. Well Ryan Reynolds enlisted him to appear in his latest Aviation Gin commercial for a really good reason.
The ad opens with Reynolds, who bought a portion of the company back in February 2018, asking, "How far would you go for your company?" Throughout the one-minute clip, we see just how involved the Deadpool star is in the business. As he personally engraves the bottles, he asks, "Can you ever really go too far for your company? I just don't think it's possible"
Cut to King, who has become the face (and meme) of this all in sentiment. "He get's it," King says with a smile and nod. "The video raises a glass to those who, much like Fyre Festival’s Andy King, are willing to go that far for the brands and people they love," a rep for Aviation Gin said in a statement.
The video, which is officially titled "How Far," coincides with the brand's limited-edition signature bottle. According to Aviation, all proceeds from the launch will go to the Exuma Foundation and those harmed by the Fyre festival.

King, who has continued to poke fun at himself since the doc premiered on Netflix, posted the news to his own Instagram Wednesday. "Had such a fun time with @vancityreynolds and @aviationgin 🍸🎬 So happy a portion of the proceeds of each bottle sold will go to @exumafoundation ❤️🙏🏼," he wrote.
This guy is a team player, through and through.
