Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu? They're just Ken.
The stars of the upcoming Barbie movie hit the pink carpet during their Canadian press day in Toronto yesterday, June 28, and they're giving off pure Kenergy in their photos.
Gosling, who plays the main man himself, wore a powder blue suit over a pale pink button-up. He jazzed up the look even further with a pair of lavender loafers and styled his hair so that his bangs curled at each end of his forehead.
Meanwhile, Ken #2 wore a loosely knit pink sweater under a sage green suede jacket and a pair of brown slacks. His hair was slicked back in a gentle bouffant, and he wore blue sneakers with an orange stripe.
The doll duo posed next to each other on the very appropriately colored carpet, with Liu smiling brightly next to Gosling, both men standing casually with their hands in their pockets.
Barbie, which was once set to star Amy Schumer, features Margot Robbie as the leading lady, Helen Mirren as the narrator, Will Ferrell as the CEO of the toy company, Dua Lipa, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, and more as other Barbies, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Ncuti Gatwa as other Kens, Michael Cera as Allan, America Ferrera as a human, and several others.
The plot of the script written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach has been kept pretty mysterious, but IMDB offers up, "A doll living in 'Barbieland' is expelled for not being perfect enough and sets off on an adventure in the real world."
Barbie will be released on July 21, 2023.
