What do you get when the son of a Russian billionaire marries a social media star? Not a quaint little ceremony — that's for sure.
The son of real estate mogul Samvel Karapetyan and Instagram maven Karen Karapetyan, who goes by the name of Lilit — first name only, like Madonna — wedded in an over-the-top ceremony in Moscow over the weekend.
According to Business Insider, the couple invited 200 guests to the affair, and it looks like Samvel’s estimated net worth of $4.6 billion went toward a wedding they would never forget.
With the help of event designer Aram Lobyan, both the ceremony and reception venues were decked out in thousands of flowers and crystals with ailes at the Armenian Apostolic Church in Moscow flanked by flowers and dazzling electric candlelight.
For the reception, Safisa banquet hall was transformed into a neon floral wonderland for guests to party the night away. The entire ceiling was lined in blooms, creating a rosy, illuminated effect when paired with the venue's elegant chandeliers. And that was just the entrance.
Inside, the large floral and crystal centerpieces stole the show, as did the white floral trellis and Kim Kardashian-esque flower wall. Naturally, the dessert table had more blooms than sweets and the four-tier, 15-foot cake was dripping with them, too.
