Russell Dickerson actually never met Rachel or Dean on 'The Bachelorette'

Remember during Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette when she took Dean Unglert on a date to see Russell Dickerson perform (if not, you can check it out here)? Well, Russell himself stopped by The Morning Breath today and chatted about his experience on the show.

Russell revealed that he never really got to meet Rachel and Dean, that he just “performed and then they bounced.” The country musician added that “they were waiting all day for them.” And during that time, “Chris Harrison came onto [Russell’s] bus, had a little Bud Light, chilled [and] talked.” Russell says Harrison is “the chillest, realest dude there is.”

While waiting for Rachel and Dean to come out, Russell and Harrison performed “Friends in Low Places” for the audience. When Rachel and Dean finally showed up, Russell says they were making out the whole time, “like hardcore.” Evidence here:

As for what Russell thought of their date at his concert, he said that it was “magical.”
