ROGER GOODELL: If he wants to resume his career in the NFL, then, obviously, it's going to take a team to make that decision. But I welcome that, support a club making that decision, and encourage them to do that.

JARED QUAY: That was NFL commissioner Roger Goodell encouraging teams to sign Colin Kaepernick. I'm not convinced, though. My man ain't even making eye contact with the camera. In other commish news, Robert Manfred said that he's not confident that there'll be a 2020 MLB season.

- There's no crying in baseball!

JARED QUAY: But there is crying without it. Reigning MVP Lamar Jackson got busted breaking all kinds of rules over the weekend. First, he was kind of having fun. And you know that ain't allowed in the No Fun League.

Remember last year, when Patrick Mahomes was told he couldn't play b-ball no more after he crushed this dude's ankle in this viral video? Cue the no beach activity written into Lamar Jackson's next contract ASAP. Yo, that jet ski might be nominated for Defensive Player of the Year. And, look, hurdling a jet ski wasn't his only questionable move.

- You can talk about the vacation. And if you do that, it's really unfair.

JARED QUAY: Look, TO, you don't see those people running around with no masks, huffing and puffing in each other's face in the middle of a pandemic?

- [SNIFFLES] He's my quarterback.

JARED QUAY: He's my quarterback too, TO! I love the Ravens. Now, let's check up on TO's old team for a reality check. Cowboys star, Ezekiel Elliott has coronavirus. And he is pissed.

- Being sick sucks.

JARED QUAY: No, no, no, he's mad because everybody knows he got COVID. NFL Network reported that multiple players from the Cowboys and Texans have tested positive for COVID-19.

- Everything's bigger in Texas.

JARED QUAY: And we called it back in April when Zeke got busted at Dak Prescott's house during a stay-at-home order.

Chicken, mac and cheese, and homemade stuffed 'rona.

Get well soon, Zeke. And while we're talking about running backs that are out of commission, imagine being Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard. Not only do you have one of the most legendary athlete names of all time.

- And a hand-off, and straight ahead, there goes Chuba!

[CHEERING]

But coming off a 2,000-yard rushing season, you loved your college so much that you forgo the NFL to come back for one year, and then your head coach goes out and acts a damn fool.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

That's Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy wearing an OAN shirt. Now, I'm not even sure what OAN is, but it don't stand for nothing positive. It's like someone's right wing, conspiracy theory, propaganda news channel. And his star running back is having none of it, tweeting that he ain't doing [BLEEP] until things change. Damn, yo, Mike Gundy, you got to learn to read the room.

- Come after me!

JARED QUAY: Chuba came straight for you. And now you've got the O-line behind him too.

- I'm a man! I'm 40!

JARED QUAY: I guess older doesn't always mean wiser. I mean I kind of expect it. Any time you see a man in his 40s with a mullet, you know he don't make the best decisions.
