1) They must follow a strict dress code.

2) You only have some flexibility when it comes to your number.

3) Jerseys should be tucked in on the field.

4) They have to wear their pants just right.

5) They must wear their stockings at a specific height.

6) Towels can only be tucked into the front of the waist.

7) Only some headwear can be worn during a game.

8) They can't do a leapfrog during the game.

9) They can wear designs on their shoes—but only during warmup.

10) However, there's an exception.

11) They can't wear personal messages on their bodies during a game.

12) However, entire teams can make a social or political statement together.

13) All accessories must be pre-approved as well.

14) They can't skip meetings without permission.

15) They can't miss official team practices.

16) That includes preseason training camp, too.

17) Skipping preseason games can also result in hefty fines.

18) They can't spin footballs in the air after a touchdown.

19) They have to be careful during games too.

20) Sexually suggestive moves are off-limits, too.

21) They can't dunk a football through the goalpost.

22) No violent gestures can be made in the end zone either.

23) Thankfully, they can still have some fun in the endzone.

24) They can't take certain drugs while on the field.

25) They can't intend to injure another player.

26) Players also can't fake injuries.

27) They have specific rules for how to defend wide receivers.

28) Coaches can't call back-to-back time-outs.

29) They don't just have NFL rules to think about.

30) There are still strict rules around endorsing alcohol.
