This Royal Family-Approved Box Of Chocolates Is Surprisingly Cheap At Nordstrom
It’s not super well-known with Americans, but the British royal family has something called a Royal Warrant of Appointment to let people know that they really, really dig a product. Now one of their royally appointed/favorite chocolates is available at Nordstrom and you can try the stuff out for yourself.
The Royal Warrant is given by the Queen, Prince Philip, or Prince Charles and it basically serves as a badge of honor to businesses that have been supplying products to the royal households for at least five years, according to the official website of the British royal family.
There are currently 816 Royal Warrant holders and they range from dry cleaners to fish suppliers to computer software. Once someone is given a Royal Warrant, they’re able to use the Royal Arms on their products for at least five years. (And no, they don’t give the Queen and her family freebies.)
Now, Charbonnel et Walker, which is a chocolate brand with a Royal Warrant, is available at Nordstrom, and for a price mere plebes can afford.
