Rory McIlroy makes kid's day at the Masters
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Ahh, youthful exuberance. There’s absolutely nothing like it, especially when you get close to your heroes. If you’ve forgotten what it’s like, just take a look at this kid who gets a high-five from Rory McIlroy as he walks to the eighth tee at Augusta National:
Give McIlroy some credit here: he’s in the middle of the final round of the Masters, in a dogfight with playing partner Patrick Reed, he’s got Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm on his heels and he’d already thrown away a couple easy opportunities at eagle and birdie.
What a beautiful thing to see.
