The Rookie fans, in case you didn't hear, there’s still a wedding you need to finish attending in L.A. — the ABC police drama will officially be back with season 4 later this year.

After watching the heart-racing season 3 finale, millions of viewers are still waiting to see Angela (Alyssa Lopez) and Wesley (Shawn Ashmore) walk down the aisle after their big day was interrupted by none other than Santa De La Cruz a.k.a. La Fiera (Camille Guaty).

When will season 4 of The Rookie premiere?

Season 4 of The Rookie will premiere later this fall. The fourth installment will air on Sunday nights at 10 p.m. ET. Days before the season 3 finale, the show announced on social media that a new season of The Rookie was officially happening. A fitting gif from the hit series was captioned: “Congratulations to #TheRookie - we will be back for another season on ABC! 😍.”

Eric Winter, who plays LAPD police officer Tim Bradford, also shared his excitement about the news with fans on Twitter.

“Rookie fans we did it! So happy that we get to keep telling these stories. What a great ride it has been. @therookie season 4!" he wrote. "Thank you @ABCNetwork and @eOne_TV Congrats to all of our writers, producers, cast and crew💪🏼💥 Vamos!”
