For a limited time, and while supplies last, Walmart's early Black Friday sale includes the Roku Ultra LT for just $30. That's more than 50% off the regular price and the best premium-Roku deal I've seen. To put that in perspective, the entry-level Roku Express sells for $29. One extra buck buys you a lot more streamer.

The Ultra LT supports HD and 4K video with HDR, which is a lot of tech-speak for "it delivers super-sharp, super-vibrant images." It does all this using a quad-core processor, meaning menu navigation and streaming start-up should feel very snappy.

In addition to dual-band Wi-Fi, the Ultra LT supports Ethernet connectivity. That means you can plug it directly into a router, an important consideration if wireless speeds or range aren't great in your house.

The included remote can be programmed to control power and volume for most TVs, and with the press of a button it also accepts voice commands (such as "open Netflix" or "find Tom Cruise movies").

Quite possibly the best feature of all: The remote has a headphone jack, so you can plug in the included earbuds (or your favorite headphones) for private listening.
