Rockford man killed in single vehicle crash identified by coroner's office
The Winnebago County Coroner's Office has identified the man who died in a single vehicle crash Wednesday night near Rockton.
The coroner's office identified the victim as Kevin Ksiazek, 57, of Rockford.
The crash happened Wednesday night around 10 p.m. in the 11400 block of North Rockton Avenue near Roscoe Road.
Deputies arrived on scene and found a vehicle in the ditch lying on its passenger side.
Ksiazek was found unresponsive in the car. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy was performed today.
The crash is still under investigation.
