Rosalía is a Grammy Award-winning superstar who has worked with musicians such as Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Ozuna and J Balvin. You might even recognize her from her small cameo in Cardi B’s “WAP” music video.
Now, the “Con Altura” singer is hitting all the right notes in the beauty world as the newest MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam ambassador. MAC and Rosalía worked closely to create a bright, orangey-red lipstick that not only shows off the 26-year-old’s personality, but also raises awareness and supports the future and equal rights of women, girls, the LGBTQ+ communities, as well as aiding individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Rosalía has always been a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. During her 2019 performance at Glastonbury on Pride Day, she told the crowd: "There are a lot of ways to love and none is better than the other. Raise your glass for love and freedom to love."
Step 1: I used MAC Art Library Palette to create a subtle smoky eye look. I love this palette because the powders apply evenly and blend well. Now I decided to kick it up a bit and used four different shades: Sandstone, Espresso, Pleasing to the Eye and Shroom. However, if you want to keep it super simple like Rosalía, stick with Outre on the crease and Shroom on the eyelid.
Step 2: It’s time for some blush! The MAC Sheerton Blush in Blushbaby is great because it's so natural looking, and the beige-pink color is amazing.
Step 3: Now you can't have Rosalía-inspired makeup without a winged eyeliner. I used MAC Brushstroke 24-Hour Eyeliner, which has a precise brush tip that makes it easier to create thin lines and wing out with ease.
Step 4: The MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara offers long-lasting wear and gives short lashes a beautiful lift thanks to its brush design.
