Vanessa Morgan shared some joyous news with her fans on Friday, July 24: she's expecting her first child with her husband, professional baseball player Michael Kopech! The 28-year-old Riverdale actress shared photos from her gender reveal celebration on Instagram and revealed that she found out she was pregnant on May 20.

"Was debating keeping this part of my life hidden but I knew people would see pictures eventually with my belly & I wanted you guys to hear it from me," she wrote. "I do want to keep this chapter of my life private but did want to be the first to share the news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January 💙 It's almost like everything I thought mattered in this life has completely changed. We're here for such a greater purpose and life is so precious."

Vanessa continued, addressing her unborn child: "I can't believe how much growth & strength you've already given me as your mom. It's like God knew I needed you, my angel. The universe works in mysterious ways but always times everything the way it was meant to be. Lil one you were made with so much love & already exude a light so strong it warms my belly. Thank you God for this blessing ☺️ I'm just so happy & can't wait to dedicate everyday to being the best mommy I can be 💙 'I'll love you forever I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be 🎶' - if you know you know #preggers 🤰🏽 👶🏼."

Vanessa tied the knot with Michael in January during an intimate ceremony in Florida. Several Riverdale stars were in attendance, including Madelaine Petsch, Skeet Ulrich, and Drew Tanner, along with their close family and friends. Congrats to the growing family!

  • 2 Ways a Beauty Editor Would Spend $100 at Sephora (and Get $20 Back)

While some people may call things like mascara or foundation more of a "want" than a "need," as a beauty-lover, I place it firmly in the camp of things I want but also need to feel my best. Sure, going without makeup is not the same as neglecting my dry hair or stepping out without sunscreen but in these challenging times, just swiping something on can do wonders for a glum mood (and I'm taking all the small wins I can get). I've also been using this time to experiment on the parts of my face that aren't covered by a mask, so when I learned of Sephora's new August Welcome Back Celebration Offer , I considered it a sign and started preparing my cart. From Aug. 14 to 23, all Beauty Insiders can knock $15 off $75 purchases and $20 off $100 purchases by adding the promo code WELCOMEBACK at checkout. Because I categorize my makeup routine according to whether I want to play up my eyes for a socially distanced dinner out or keep it low key during the day with a no-makeup makeup look, I broke down two ways I'd shop the Welcome Back sale in case you do the same. Now, I haven't yet decided which I'll ultimately pick, but while this promotion is limited to a one-time use online, there's unlimited use in store . . . so I may just head down to my local Sephora and end up doing both. Check out the products I'd use for both occasions ahead. If You Want to Really Accentuate Your Eyes . . .

In an interview with LA Magazine back in 2017, GlamGlow founders Glenn and Shannon Dellimore revealed that the creation of the skin-care brand was a direct result of a conversation that Shannon, formerly a paralegal, had with Reeves at a party in 2008.
