Riverdale fans: Are you ready to meet Katy Keene? As if we weren’t already spoiled enough by the crazy escapades of Archie and Crew™ and the mischievous (but chic) witches of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The CW is bringing you another Riverdale spin-off. As you know, the minds behind Riverdale are digging even deeper into the Archie Comics Universe to give us Katy Keene—starring your Pretty Little Liars fave Lucy Hale. Here’s everything we know.

When will it air?

Katy Keene will premiere at 8 p.m. ET Thursday, February 6, followed by Legacies at 9 p.m.

What will it be about?

Apparently, it’s going to be nothing like Riverdale—well, except for the fact that it will also feature musical episodes.

The dramedy will center on Katy Keene, a model, actress, and singer in the comic series. However, the new show will focus on her aspirations of becoming a fashion designer in New York City.

Of course, she can’t make it in NYC without her besties. In addition to Katy, there will be three other main characters who are also aspiring young artists. One is Josie McCoy from Riverdale, who decided to leave her small town and pursue a singing career. Another is Jorge Lopez, Katy and Josie’s roommate, who dreams of making it on Broadway—but also loves to perform as a drag queen named Ginger. Last, there’s the mysterious It Girl Pepper Smith, who wants to open her own version of Andy Warhol’s Factory (his famous NYC studio). She’s well-connected, but no one really seems to know where she gets all her money from...so she may or may not be an Anna Delvey–type scammer.

Katy also has a boyfriend named KO Kelly, whose goal is to become a professional boxer. (Watch out, Archie, you’ve got some competition!)

Who’s going to be in it?

Only one OG Riverdale cast member is confirmed: Ashleigh Murray. Ashleigh will continue to play her character, Josie McCoy. This Josie is a few years older and ready to take on NYC.

Lucy plays our titular lead, Katy. According to Variety, Katy is “a bold, big-hearted, and independent 20something New Yorker who aspires to be a fashion designer. When she’s not working as a personal shopper at a luxury department store, she’s navigating friendship and dating in the big city.”

Other cast members joining Lucy and Ashleigh are Jonny Beauchamp (Jorge), Julia Chan (Pepper), Zane Holtz (KO Kelly), Camille Hyde, and Lucien Laviscount.

Is there a trailer?

Well, this tells us a LOT. Namely, that the men on this show are fiiiiine.

There are definitely Devil Wears Prada meets Glee (NYC years) meets A Chorus Line vibes going on, which could be great or absolutely terrible. Sure, NYC is the city of dreams, but I’m not sure how many girls get to NYC and almost immediately meet the Rockefeller of record execs while busking in one of the Big Apple’s various parks. But hey, if it would happen to anyone, it would be Josie.

Will there be any crossovers?

Judging by how different the new spin-off sounds from both Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, it doesn’t seem very likely that there will be any overt crossovers. But as we know, RAS loves to hide little nuggets for fans to pick up on, so we can probably count on at least a few references to the other shows.

But it’s unlikely Archie will fight KO Kelly in the boxing ring, given that Katy Keene takes place in the future and would force the Riverdale writers to plan way, way ahead. A girl can still dream, though, can’t she?
