Daisy Jones & The Six star Riley Keough is now an Emmy-nominated actress. Riley, 33, received a nomination for outstanding lead actress in a limited series or movie for her role in the Taylor Jenkins Reid adaptation—her biggest role to date.

The accomplishment doesn't come as a complete surprise, given Riley's performance. The actress actually felt the role of Daisy Jones was made for her. In fact, she told Vanity Fair that she's only felt more sure of one other thing in her life: "I was like, I know I’m playing Daisy. I just knew it. I don’t even know if one script was written, I didn’t know if they liked me, I hadn’t even talked to them at that stage. The only other time I’ve experienced that is when I met my husband and I knew a week in that I’m gonna have kids with him and marry him,” she said.

And while this might be Riley Keough's most successful year thus far for her career, but she was destined for Hollywood way before she was even born. Here's everything to know about the Daisy Jones & The Six actress—from her very famous grandfather to her net worth.

She's one of Elvis's grandchildren.

Yup, she's starting off strong in the fun facts category. Riley is the oldest child of the late Lisa Marie Presley, who was the daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. Elvis died in 1977, so she obviously didn't get to know her grandfather, but she did comment on how well Austin Butler captured his spirit in the biographical film Elvis that came out last year.

"I was in tears for a week because of the film, but also because of his performance," Riley said on LIVE! with Kelly and Ryan earlier this week.

Riley has also spoken about how the film was a great moment for her family—especially because they got to do press for it together. The Presley family felt endorsing the Baz Luhrmann film was a "simple choice," according to Riley.

"We saw the movie and thought, ‘How can we not?’ We saw the love that Austin and [Baz] put into it and how much they’ve honored the legacy, and we couldn’t not get behind it,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2022.

She's been acting professionally since 2010.

Daisy Jones & The Six might be the first time you're seeing Riley on the big, er, small screen but she's been in lots of movies and television shows.

Riley was even nominated for a Golden Globe award in 2017 for her role in the miniseries The Girlfriend Experience, per the Golden Globes. The 34-year-old actress has also had roles in Mad Max: Fury Road and Zola.

She has three siblings.

Riley is the oldest grandchild of Elvis, but she isn't the only one. Her mother had two children with her father Danny Keough—Riley, and her late brother Benjamin. Her brother died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27, per PEOPLE.

"Not an hour goes by where I don't think of you and miss you," Riley wrote in a tribute post to her brother on the anniversary of his death last year.

In 2008, Lisa Marie Presley had two more children with their father Michael Lockwood, Harper and Finley Lockwood, per PEOPLE.

She fell in love with her husband instantly.

Riley first briefly met her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road, where he was working as a stuntman, in 2012. The pair fell in love very quickly during a visit Riley made back to Australia in 2013 for film pick-ups and an extended stay with friends.

An executive that works with the family estimated that the estate alone makes around $40 million a year, per Rolling Stone.

In June 2023, the actress settled a dispute over the family trust with Priscilla Presley, which established Riley as the sole trustee. According to the New York Times, the Daisy Jones and The Six star settled with her grandmother through a $1 million payment. She also reportedly offered to pay as much as $400,000 for Priscilla's legal fees, and will retain her as "special adviser" to the trust.

It's unclear exactly how much Riley Keough is worth at the moment, but Celebrity Net Worth estimates she's worth about $5 million. This amount is mostly estimated through her acting gigs, so I'm guessing it's a bit more now with the estate she just inherited.
