It might not be the collab that we've been hoping for, but it's the closest that we'll get for now. Rihanna's demo of Selena Gomez's "Same Old Love" has leaked and it is SO good.

Of course, we wouldn't expect anything else from queen RiRi. Her version of "Same Old Love" sounds almost the same as Selena's, which means that the song was completed by the time it was shown to both artists. Check out Rihanna's version below:

The song was leaked on YouTube and fans can't get enough of it. The track, which was written by Charli XCX, Ross Golan, Stargate, and Benny Benassi, was originally intended for Rihanna.

"[I] wrote the song with StarGate and Benny Blanco and Ross Golan at the beginning of 2015. I think at one point Rihanna was gonna sing it or something, but then I think the direction of her record changed and it wasn’t right for her anymore (anti is one of my fav albums of the year btw slay)," Charli XCX wrote on her Tumblr, according to Genius. "Then I think Selena heard it and was into it, and she sang it, and it just suited her voice and her story so well. The song felt so emotional and real coming from her. I was really happy she cut it; it felt very powerful."

Rihanna also hinted at the song back in 2014 when she tweeted out lyrics from the song.

Selena ended up releasing it on September 2015 as part of her album Revival and went to peak at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

Hopefully, this brings Selena and Rihanna together to possibly take out a duet version or a new collab in the future.
