Rihanna: ‘All Girls Rock — Black Girls, We Just On Another Level’

Undeniably, black girls rock, and on Tuesday night, BET celebrated just that with its aptly named Black Girls Rock! awards. During the 10th annual ceremony, hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross (who opened the show with a magical musical number), personalities — including Rihanna, Shonda Rhimes, and Amandla Stenberg — were honored, and each delivered an inspiring speech. Activists Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi — founders of the #BlackLivesMatter movement — also received accolades, and Hillary Clinton even stopped by, taking a break from the campaign trail to make a brief appearance to speak about the legacy of black women.
