Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Celebrated Their First Christmas as a Couple in Barbados
They spent the holidays with RiRi’s family.
Just a few months after her relationship with rapper A$AP Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers) made headlines, Rihanna paid homage to her beau in an unexpected way. In a pair of Instagram snaps, Ri showed off a pair of heels that just so happened to be designed by Rocky's creative agency, AWGE, in collaboration with white-hot footwear designer (and Fenty co-designer) Amina Muaddi.
The New Year's Eve photos show off a gold bikini, matching lamé skirt, plenty of necklaces, and the statement-making Amina Muaddi X AWGE LSD Gladi Thigh High Heel. The shoes are still available for purchase just in case anyone's looking to recreate Rihanna's sizzling poolside look. The style features long, crystal-embellished straps that lace up the leg and a vertigo-inducing four-inch heel, complete with Muaddi's signature flared detail.
"new year's resolution: apply the pressure," she wrote alongside the photos.

People confirmed Rihanna and Rocky's relationship back in November. Rihanna had split from her ex, Hassan Jameel, in January 2020. They had been together for three years.
"They've always seemed to have a great time together," a source told the magazine of the chemistry between Rocky and Rihanna. "They have a lot in common."
