You already know that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child together earlier this year — and unless you're besties with them, that's probably all you know.

Since Rihanna gave birth, we haven't really learned anything about her and Rocky's child at all — which, of course, is totally fine. Parents — and people in general — need their privacy!

In a new interview with the Washington Post, Rihanna explained why she and Rocky have kept mum when it comes to info on their child.

According to Rihanna, the two of them simply haven't gotten around to sharing too much news about their child.

“We just didn’t get around to it yet really,” she said. “We’ve just been living. But I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with kind of just, like, getting it out there.”

So, it sounds like they'll probably share some more info about their child at some point — and if they don't, that's cool too. It's their call!

She's clearly OK with sharing some details about parenthood in general, though, because Rihanna also detailed her favorite part of having a baby in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"Oh my god, the mornings, like, seeing his morning face!" she said. "Seeing a baby with, like, little bags and waking up and they're just, like, startled. They're trying to figure out where they’re at. It's the cutest, it's my favorite part of the day." Aww.
