Rihanna Was a Gorgeous Bridesmaid Who Avoided the Bridal Bouquet

Rihanna was a Bad Gal bridesmaid this weekend, as she attended her childhood friend Sonita Alexander's wedding in Barbados. The superstar looked stunning in a royal blue gown featuring ruffled short sleeves and a plunging neckline. She added some sparkle with diamond earrings and a jeweled bracelet.

As expected, the Fenty Beauty mogul's wedding day makeup was also on point. Rih wore cobalt eyeliner on her lower lashes with a dusty pink shadow on her lids. She wore a light pink lipstick and kept her hair in a slick updo.

Footage from the ceremony shows that Rih's tied her locks back in a jeweled hairpiece, and her ponytail fell down to her hips.

Rih totally killed her entrance (on a gold aisle, no less).

But perhaps her best moment came much later, during the reception. When Sonita threw her bridal bouquet into the crowd, Rihanna ducked and avoided it at all costs.

In addition to becoming the ultimate bridesmaid inspo, Rihanna also played supportive friend on Sonita's big day. The singer made sure to show off the bride with sweet behind-the-scenes footage of them getting ready on social media. One video showed the duo sporting customized silk robes.

Rihanna touched down in Barbados on Friday night in time for the ceremony, right after filming an unknown project in Cuba, according to local news outlet, Nation News. Alexander, who is a family physician arrived to the nuptials in a vintage red coupe driven by her father. From the looks of paparazzi photos from the wedding, Rihanna seemed stoked to be there.
