When winter arrives, many riders shove their bikes to the back of the garage and bring out their skis. Not all though!
Watch as one rider carves through dreamy powder on the first snow of the year below.
In fairness, early snowstorms are often bad for skiing. There is no base, and skiers destroy their bases to get those first few turns. Why not bring out the bike and spare the skis until there is enough base?
Riding through powder is an experience that most of us would kill for. If it is too deep or the hill is too flat it would not be fun, but this video was filmed at a perfect pitch with a perfect amount of snow. Carving through it is what dreams are made of.
It is important to note that you should only ride at a ski resort like this with permission. Most resorts actively forbid bicycles and do not take kindly to trespassing.
Some of the best riding edits take place in the snow. Watch Fabio Wibmer evade the authorities in his masterpiece Fabiolous Escape 2 below.
