Rider Hits Perfect Dirt Jumps In Gator-Infested State Park

Florida is the flattest state in America. Though you might think that this limits riding in the region, the state actually has a lively riding scene.

One of the popular styles of the trails is dirt jump lines that do not require large hills. Watch Jeff Lenosky cruise through one such line below.

In this video,  Lenosky took a lap on a dirt jump line at Alifia Mountain bike trails. Located outside Tampa, Alafia is one of the most popular spots to ride in Florida. Alafia has a wide array of trails of all ability levels.

This jump line is a sizeable yet approachable jump line. Jeff chose the hardtail which is a good option for a jump line like that because it allows riders to pump and carry speed, very important on flatter lines.

While In many regions, the dangerous animal to look out for is a bear. In Florida, what riders need to watch for is a gator on the trail. It was there that a rider ran up on a sizeable gator on his ride in a viral video. Read about the incident below.
