Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is back for a second season and there’s plenty of drama in the mix, thanks to cast member Jen Shah getting charged with running a nationwide telemarketing scheme and Mary Crosby being accused of being a cult leader. But there’s also a new cast member named Jennie Nguyen, and she’s not exactly a wallflower.

“Jennie is a little firecracker,” Jen says in the trailer before the camera cuts to Jennie telling her fellow cast members to “shut the f*ck up.”

But there’s so much more to Jennie than her potty mouth. Here’s what you need to know about the newest member of the RHOSLC cast:

Jennie is a refugee from Vietnam.

Jennie was born in Vietnam and she started her journey to the U.S. when she was just seven years old, according to her Bravo bio.

"During our journey, we were captured by the Thai pirates, and we were placed in a Thai refugee camp,” Jennie explained in one episode. “About three years into the camp, we were sponsored by a Christian church and that's how we ended up in Long Beach, California. And so that’s how we came to America.”

Jennie is 45 years old, but she took two years off of her age in official documents when she arrived in the U.S. so she could attend kindergarten.

She and Lisa Barlow have been friends for more than ten years.

Jennie and Lisa have been besties for over a decade, and they met while their sons attended the same private school together. “She tapped me on the shoulder when we were having a Thanksgiving feast at the school. She’s like, ‘You are Atlas’ mom and that’s Jack’s best friend,’” Jennie said on the show.

“And I was like, ‘Oh, awesome!’ and we turn around and we bump bellies because we were like out to here.”

In March, Jennie posted a throwback pic from early on in her and Lisa's friendship on Instagram. "True friends stand the test of time! ❤️," she wrote in the caption:

Jennie has three kids.

Jennie and her husband Duy have three children together: 15-year-old Atlas, 12-year-old Triton, and 9-year-old Karlyn. Atlas and Lisa Barlow's 16-year-old son, Jack, are also best friends. And, Jennie has big plans for her kids—Karlyn is already an author of a children's book called The Mysterious Forest.

But, her husband wants more children—and it's a big plotline this season.

In a recent episode, Jennie opened up to a few of the other housewives about not wanting any more children, even though Duy doesn't feel the same way. "I'm older, I tied my tubes, I have three wonderful children, but Duy comes to me and is like, 'I want more kids,'" she said, per People, adding, "I don't think I could handle another child."

Jennie went on to reveal that "I had 13 pregnancies with three living kids and one stillbirth." "My daughter passed away when she was 42 weeks. [She was] my second pregnancy—that's when I had the stillbirth," she explained. Jennie admitted that she knows losing their daughter is part of why Duy wants more kids but said she doesn't think she has the time or energy to chase after another toddler.

Later, on a skiing date, Jennie confronted Duy about why he wants another baby. "I think we need to have more kids so we can help replenish this Earth right now," Duy said. "This world's in bad shape, it needs more good people."

"One miscarriage is hard enough for a mom, I went through ten... I don't want to continue to feel like something's wrong with me," Jennie responded. Duy suggested that they look for a surrogate—or even a sister wife.

On Watch What Happens Live immediately after the episode aired, Jennie shared how she really felt about Duy's proposal with Bravo host Andy Cohen.

"If you can imagine sitting there, it's like, 'Are you serious?'" she said. "'Are you just going to bring this up now and not discuss this with me prior?' It was shocking to me. I didn't know what to say."

"If murder was not a felony, he would have been dead," Jennie laughed. As for how the couple is approaching the situation now, she said, "with every family, we have family planning. And we have discussed having a big family and what we wanted. He's still stuck in that moment [of wanting more kids]. But, you know, life dealt me and him a different hand. So I'm trying to deal with it and [have] moved on. He has not."

Jennie used to own a medical spa.

Jennie co-founded a medispa, which she eventually sold to focus on her kids, her Bravo bio says. And, medicine runs in the family—Duy is a chiropractor who founded his own practice back in 1992.

She has a YouTube channel.

Jennie has her own YouTube channel called Jennie Nguyen Luv, where she shares a lot of food content. Jennie has videos about how to make avocado shakes, Vietnamese coffee, and “shaking beef,” which all show her doing tutorials in her home kitchen.

Jennie’s clearly a foodie: Her early Instagrams are all about delicious-looking dishes.

Jennie is big on selfies.

Her Instagram is packed with them. JIC you’re wondering what she looks like:
