‘RHOC’ Star Emily Simpson Just Posted Un-Retouched Photos To Clap Back At Her Trolls
Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson responded to body shaming on Instagram.
She shared two un-retouched photos of herself to prove her RHOC promotional photo was real and didn't photoshop away excess weight.
Emily explained she responded to the trolls because, "Maybe just maybe they will think next time they bully."
Emily Simpson is heated, and it's not because the mercury is rising in Orange County. After internet trolls dragged her Real Housewives of Orange County promotional photo and claimed it was photoshopped, she took action with some photos of her own.
Emily shared two totally un-retouched photos to Instagram. She also added a lengthy caption to explain how hurtful the body shaming comments have been. Her hashtags alone paint a pretty clear picture: #shutup #bodypositive #curves #confidence #getalife #losers #dressthepopulation #unapologetic #effyourbeautystandards
She had a lot more to say. "For you assholes out there who feel the need to make derogatory comments on my figure 'photoshopped to look like 50 pounds were taken off' in reference to the Season 14 #rhoc promo pic.... here’s the raw, untouched photo taken with my iPhone by my makeup artist. Looks exactly the same to me! This dress is a size Medium."

She continued in the caption: "I’m not sure if you all know this but I’m a woman, I have curves and they are frikin’ hot and amazing ...but I’m also a human and I have feelings too. Why so many of you feel the need to say downright mean, cruel and vicious things.. I truly will never understand it. I hope you find some happiness and peace someday so that attacking someone’s looks and being so vicious doesn’t come so naturally to you."
Emily wrapped it all up by telling the haters exactly what they can do. "So for all you mean-spirited, cruel and vicious jerks out there... please SWIPE left and kiss my unretouched perfect ASS! 😘😘" (Pause for applause.)
Emily's fellow Bravo stars totally had her back and jumped in the comments to cheer her on. “Emily, this breaks my heart to read. You and I have had many conversations about the hateful comments,” the Real Housewives of Dallas star D’Andra Simmons wrote. “I think you’re absolutely stunning, Smart, kind, and has a huge heart. Do not let these hateful comments tear you down. You’re loved so much. ”
One fan offered up a fair question: "Why respond to the haters?" Emily shared her motivation driving her response, "most of the time I don't. But sometimes I feel it's necessary to call people out on their atrocious behavior. Maybe it will make a difference. Maybe just maybe they will think next time they bully."
