This Is Reportedly Why Irina Shayk Called It Quits With Bradley Cooper

Days after Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper's breakup, reported details behind their split are emerging. For starters? Apparently it was Shayk who decided to end the relationship.

An unnamed source told Entertainment Tonight that Shayk called off her relationship with Cooper—not the other way around, as some outlets had reported. She had wanted to end the relationship for some time, the source added—including during A Star Is Born's release, but the source told ET that they'd been "advised against it."

“Recently, Irina decided enough is enough. She didn’t feel she was getting the level of commitment she wanted, and the endless fighting made their life unbearable,” the source told ET. “They are very different people, and once they realized it was the baby that was holding them together, it was time to call it quits.”

The source added that having a daughter made the decision more difficult. “Some of their friends feel they never truly got a chance to know each other outside of being a family, and it was just all too much too fast.”

Take it all with a grain of salt: None of this information has been confirmed by Shayk or Cooper. (The original reports of their breakup also went uncommented upon by their representatives.)

Still, Shayk has been busy since the news broke. Currently, she's in Iceland for work—and posting about it on Instagram. Hey, if there's anywhere to go after a breakup, Iceland sounds pretty darn gorgeous—and the photos certainly look it.

On her Instagram story, she's been posting photos and videos of streams and waterfalls.

Whatever the private circumstances of their breakup were, we sense a strong cleansing and rebirth vibe going on in Shayk's 'grams, and we dig it.
