This Replica of Meghan Markle’s Wedding Gown Costs Less Than $1,500

Meghan Markle looked stunning on her wedding day to Prince Harry, in large part thanks to the Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown she wore. If you were one of the millions swooning over its simple elegance, you’re in luck: Direct-to-consumer bridal brand Floravere has released a replica of the famous dress, and it can be yours for less than $1,500.

Aptly named the M. Markle Gown ($1,475), this gorgeous boatneck design can now be purchased in sizes 0-30. The style features the same minimalistic lines that the Duchess of Sussex showcased on her big day, but there are a few key differences. Whereas the former Suits actress wore long sleeves, this version has short sleeves. Markle’s gown was made from a silk cady, while the replica is made from a double-faced matte satin specially sourced from Japan. Floravere’s version also includes hand-sewn bridal buttons which fasten at the back; Markle’s did not.

As for that gorgeous veil, it’s not included with the gown, but those seeking to have their own RL Disney princess moment will be able to purchase a similar style separately on Floravere’s site (albeit in a likely shorter version) soon.

If you’re on the fence, the site also offers try-on samples for $25 with the closest available size being shipped to your home for a three-day trial period. Once you say yes to the dress, each takes 10 to 15 weeks to make.
