Rent the Runway Can Now Send Vacation Clothes Straight to Your Hotel Room
When you picture a vacation, you might imagine yourself in breezy beach clothes or floppy straw hats. That's the dream, right? Buying and packing all those outfits and hauling your luggage through crowded airports? Not so much. A new service from W Hotels and Rent the Runway is making it easier to travel lightly but in style with their new Closet Concierge service.
The program gives W Hotel guests access to Rent the Runway’s endless closets, and it works like this: After booking your room at the W Hotel, you receive a Rent the Runway Closet Concierge promo code in the reservation confirmation email. You can choose four styles to rent from Rent the Runway’s Unlimited closet. Not sure what works best for where you're headed? You can choose from a destination-curated assortment of looks that are based on Rent the Runway’s data on trending colors, designers, silhouettes and the climate of each location.
Once you choose your four items, enter the promo code from the W Hotels confirmation email, the hotel address of the W, and the name on your reservation. When you make it to your hotel, your four items will be hanging in your hotel room, dry-cleaned and ready to wear. After your stay ends, all you have to do to return your items is drop them off at the Welcome Desk checkout. The hotel will send them back for you.

Currently, the Rent the Runway Closet Concierge is available at W Aspen, W South Beach, W Washington D.C., and the W Hollywood.
So how much does it cost for you to have your dream closet delivered to your travel destination? The service is only $69, which is way less than what most high-end items on Rent the Runway retail for. (And close to the cost of checking your bag on some domestic airlines).
