Regina King has arrived at the Oscars.

The actress and director, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in 2019 for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk, has returned to the ceremony wearing a sky-blue Louis Vuitton gown with statement shoulders and intricate allover beading. The dress featured a scalloped pattern at the hem and on King's spotlight-stealing shoulders. The gown also had a deep-V neckline and King used the awards ceremony as an opportunity to show off a brand-new bob hairstyle.

This isn't the first time that King has worn Louis Vuitton this year. At the Golden Globes, she wore an asymmetrical gown with more than 3,000 sequins paired with more than $2,000,000 worth of diamonds from Forevermark. She opted to wear pieces from the famed jewelers today, too.

This year, King's directorial debut, One Night in Miami, is nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay and for Best Supporting Actor for Leslie Odom Jr.

"I want every Black man I know and love to see themselves in this film because I saw them when I read the script," she told InStyle about the film in a February cover story interview. "Some could look at [those themes] as subtleties, but they are the big-ticket items I want people to leave with," she continues. "That nobody is perfect, and we are just trying to do our best. While these men are legendary, they were trying to do their best. It's as simple as that."
