It’s official: Reese Witherspoon is turning into Gwyneth Paltrow. No, she isn’t growing taller or becoming less charming. She’s expanding her lifestyle brand.

The Oscar-winning actress has a deal with Touchstone for a lifestyle book based on her upbringing in Tennessee. The book is currently untitled and scheduled to come out in 2018, the publisher told the Associated Press Thursday.

Sound familiar? Paltrow’s Goop started out as a simple lifestyle blog.

In a statement, Witherspoon said the book was a “unique opportunity” to tell funny stories and provide hints on her idea of “Southern living.” The book will comprise photographs and personal essays and will explain how women can draw upon the South’s “signature style, grace and charm.” It’s definitely a different type of lifestyle than that of Paltrow — who has her own books, mostly about food — but you get the point.

And this isn’t Witherspoon’s first foray into lifestyle; she already has Draper James, an e-commerce website, featuring clothing and home goods designed by Witherspoon, and a blog that brings “contemporary, yet timeless Southern style to your wardrobe and your home, no matter where you live.”

“I started this company to honor my Southern heritage and in particular my grandparents who were, and still are, the greatest influences in my life: my grandmother, Dorothea Draper and my grandfather, William James Witherspoon,” the Cruel Intentions star says on the website. “My grandparents taught me everything I know about gracious Southern living. From them I learned to dress and act like a lady, to take pride in my home, to reach out to help a neighbor, and to always invite everyone in for a visit.”

Gwyneth Paltrow is sick of the comparisons, however. When asked if she checks out Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James, the Goop founder told Time magazine, “This is a very interesting question, because I wonder if George Clooney would be asked about Puff Daddy’s ancillary liquor line … I’m fascinated how the media in particular are so confounded by entrepreneurial women doing something outside of their box.”

Goop … we mean good … point.
