Reese Witherspoon Has a New Organization Show in the Works—and We Can't Wait to Check it Out

The Netflix series will feature the transformations of homes owned by "big-name celebrities."

If you can't get enough of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, you're going to be thrilled with latest production from Netflix. The streaming service is currently producing a brand-new, unscripted lifestyle series executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Molly Sims that will give you even more organization inspiration.

The untitled show will feature Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, founders of the home organization company The Home Edit, and co-authors of a book by the same name (The Home Edit, $13.95 on Amazon). On each hour-long episode, Shearer and Teplin, "will take on the homes of big-name celebrities and everyday families,” according to a news release from Netflix. The duo will tackle two projects on each installment of the eight-part series, and will "dramatically transform the lives of their clients by conquering clutter with their signature style."

Although a release date has yet to be announced, everyone involved in the project has been excited to reveal the creation of the show. After sharing the trailer for her upcoming series The Morning Show, Witherspoon uploaded a few photos to her Instagram stories about the project. "I have more exciting news," the Draper James founder captioned a photo alongside Shearer and Teplin. "Remember these wonderful master organizers from The Home Edit? We’ve partnered with Molly Sims and Critical Content on a new series!"

The Home Edit Instagram page echoed that sentiment with a post of its own that included a screenshot of the Netflix news release. "There are no words to explain how today feels, so we’re just going to leave this here instead," the caption reads. "Thank you to Netflix and our executive producers, Molly Sims, Reese Witherspoon, Hello Sunshine, and Critical Content. We’ll be crying into champagne glasses and bowls of candy all day."

This isn’t the first time the New York Times bestselling authors have teamed up with the Sweet Home Alabama star. In 2018, Witherspoon’s media company, Hello Sunshine, produced Master the Mess, another organization show starring Shearer and Teplin, Deadline reports. Master the Mess similarly featured famous faces, including model Olivia Culpo and actress Shea Mitchell, as well as regular folks. On the 12-episode series, Shearer and Teplin tackled just about every room in the house, including the pantry, the closet, the bathroom, and the laundry room, according to the show’s YouTube page.

Not only are Shearer and Teplin known for their organization prowess, but they're also recognized for their "signature stylized aesthetic," according to The Home Edit website. They have received high praise from many of their clientele, including Sims herself, who said in a June interview that the two have changed her life. We can't wait to learn all the tips and tricks from the organizing experts, and to see what's sure to be some stunning spaces after they've worked their magic.
