You’re used to eating Reese’s in the typical cup form, but they’ve also been reimagined into muffins, cupcakes, and cookies. The Hershey Company is now welcoming Reese’s Snack Cakes to its portfolio, and they’re full of chocolate and peanut butter goodness.
The new treat consists of a soft-baked chocolate cake that’s topped with Reese’s peanut butter creme, and the entire thing is covered in real milk chocolate. So you get those flavors you know and love from a typical Reese’s cup, but in fluffy cake form. While this sounds like a dessert, Reese’s says that it’s the brand’s first-ever morning treat. Hey, you don’t have to convince us!
“We wanted to create the perfect treat for Reese’s fans to satisfy that mid-morning sweet tooth,” Mike Orr, Snacks brand manager, said in a press release. “We know that sometimes you just don’t want to wait until lunch — that’s how Reese’s Snack Cakes were born.”
You’ll have to wait a little bit longer to get your hands on the new Reese’s Snack Cakes. They’ll officially hit convenience stores nationwide in December 2020. The chocolate-covered treats will come in a two-cake pack for $1.99. Anyone else thinking of loading up so we can indulge, like, every day?
