Ree Drummond's Daughter Alex Picked A Wedding Date
Alex Drummond and her fiancé Mauricio have officially picked a wedding date!
Ree and her oldest daughter took over The Pioneer Woman magazine's Instagram the other day for a Q&A, and they talked all about Thanksgiving, their family, enneagram numbers, and more. In the midst of all this fun stuff, Alex shared some happy news: She’s getting married on May 1, 2021.
Yay! That’ll be here before we know it. After she revealed that tidbit, Ree and Alex also chatted about a few other details they’ve decided on for the big day.
“We’re very excited about the wedding. Alex is getting married on the ranch,” Ree says. “We kind of did a little bit of a journey where we looked at hotels in Tulsa and venues in Tulsa. And it was Ladd Drummond, my boyfriend, who kind of said, ‘I wonder why we wouldn’t do it on the ranch because that’s who Alex is.’ And Alex and I both went, ‘aww.’”
Alex continued, “I was nervous about it at first because there’s just so many logistics that I was thinking about, like, how are people going to get out here? It’s literally the middle of nowhere. But we’re going to figure it out, we’ll just give people directions.”
Ree might have a better idea though—and it involves Alex’s brothers, Bryce, Todd, and Jamar.
“And you know, if the boys have to do a shuttle bus with the pickups, they can do that right?” she says. “I don’t think they have a license for that, but we’ll just worry about that later.” 😂
Alex has already chosen her maid-of-honor, picked the perfect dress, and tasted some delicious-looking cakes, and now it sounds like the venue is all sorted out, too. Can’t wait to see what she checks off her bridal to-do list next!
