Ree Drummond on Why Her Cooking Is So Darn Approachable

If you love the Pioneer Woman, mark your calendar to tune in to CBS Sunday Morning this Sunday, March 10th at 9:00am ET / 8:00am CT for an interview with the Pawhuska Princess. The filming took place at the Drummond family ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma — about an hour outside of Tulsa — so we're certainly hoping for some pretty views and cattle sightings.

In the segment with Alina Cho, Drummond opens up on what makes her recipes so approachable. "I'm not a trained chef. And so I have a level of accessibility," Drummond says to Cho, as reported by Broadway World. "I'm not going to show them anything that is BEYOND their skill. And I also use a lot of ingredients that are pretty easy to get."
