Red Bull Has Unveiled Its 2021 Summer Flavor, So We Hope You Like Dragon Fruit
The time has come to welcome Red Bull’s Summer Edition! In the past, the brand has released flavors like Watermelon, Beach Breeze, and Coconut Berry, which are all seasonally appropriate. This year, however, you can find us sipping on the new Dragon Fruit flavor.
The limited-edition dragon fruit (or pitaya, depending on where you go) energy drink has a burst of red berries with a hint of plum and notes of floral. Just that description alone is enough to get us to crack open a can. The bright green can with magenta details makes the packaging stand out (and guarantee you won’t confuse it with the original).
You can find this seasonal Red Bull in 8.4-ounce and 12-ounce matte cans at Walmart beginning March 29, according to a press release. It’ll be available nationwide starting April 26 and, again, it’s only sticking around for a limited time, so don’t be shy on stocking up.
There’s no wrong way to enjoy a Red Bull Summer Edition Dragon Fruit, but if you want something a little more exciting than opening a can, you can create a summery mocktail. Red Bull has all the inspiration you need with a couple mocktail recipes, like The Summer Sipper — and yes, you can certainly add vodka or rum to them, because sometimes a cocktail is the only thing that will cut it.
