I’ve never really thought of skincare as thirst-quenching, but the Inn Beauty Project Slushy Serum Moisturizer Crush has me thinking differently. Not only is the hybrid made to hydrate the skin, but it also protects with antioxidants and yuzu. The serum-moisturizer gets its name from its slushy-like texture, in which bakuchiol extract is spun at high speeds into hyaluronic acid to create its thick, but absorbent texture.

The product has already become one of my favorite moisturizers since I started using it a month and a half ago. As soon as it’s applied, it feels like a splash of water to your pores. Plus, it leaves your skin with a natural, non-oily glow. The Slushy Serum Moisturizer Crush is made to help plump the skin, specifically in with bakuchiol. A vegan ingredient, bakuchiol helps boost collagen as well as shrink your pores in tandem with hyaluronic acid, which can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water.
One of the other key ingredients in this super hydrating moisturizer is yuzu, which has a high concentration of vitamin C. Ultimately, it adds brightening benefits to the skin and protects it with its antioxidant properties.
Another cool thing about the moisturizer is that it’s in a 100 percent curbside recyclable pump bottle. Without any metal spring, you can toss it in the recycling bin when you’re done. And then re-up, of course.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering how this Inn Beauty moisturizer differs from the brand’s first Next Level No B.S. Moisturizer. For starters, Slushy is a combination of serum and a moisturizer. It’s more lightweight and great for the heat when you’re trying to steer clear from packing on layers of product. It’s really a summer solution to replace serums and moisturizers. However, you can definitely still use Slushy under the Next Level No B.S. Moisturizer, which is thicker and creamier, as a serum for extra hydration at night.
I’ve personally tried packing on both, along with the rest of the Inn Beauty Project line, and it’s a game-changer. With the added moisture, you can rest assured that your skin is getting hydration and a glow all in one.
