The Recruit fans are saying one thing about new Netflix show

In between Christmas films and trips to the pub, Netflix fans have been making time for Noah Centineo's new series, The Recruit. And judging by the reaction on social media, viewers all have the same opinion about the show: it's actually quite brilliant.

Also starring Laura Haddock from White Lines, The Recruit follows "a fledgling CIA lawyer, [who] gets caught up in a dangerous game of international politics when a former asset threatens to expose the nature of her relationship with the agency unless they clear her name."

The eight episode series has already shot into Netflix's Top 10 most-watched shows, currently sitting at number three, and fans on social media have been praising it for its twists and turns.

As one put it,"The Recruit is actually very good. Shocked it’s a Netflix series and it’s not from HBO." Someone else said, "The Recruit on Netflix living up to its potential is an understatement!!!"

A third added, "Y’all need to see this The Recruit show on Netflix, [it's] elite! 10/10" while another put, "The Recruit is a solid @netflix show. Funny, witty, smart, and has some decent action. While other platforms are gaining ground, Netflix still does some things really well. #TheRecruit."

Looks like we know exactly what we're watching this week.

The Recruit is now streaming on Netflix.
