Ashley Benson has always been a style icon. From her Spring Breakers days to escaping “A” on Pretty Little Liars to appearing as Roxie Rotten in the 2018 film Her Smell, the 30-year-old has exuded beauty inspiration onscreen and off. In case you need any further proof, I’d like to enter the following piece of evidence: her Instagram-worthy look at the Balmain show during Paris Fashion Week.
While attending the Fall/Winter show in France on February 28, Ashley sported a sleek black and white Balmain suit dress with a dramatic v-shaped neckline and delicate straps. With fresh, neutral makeup and tousled hair (thanks to hairstylist Joseph Maine), it’s easy to understand why many people immediately directed their attention to her eyebrows, which were boldly defined and the very definition of glam.
As makeup artist Mia Jones told Teen Vogue, Ashley has “incredible brows” and we whole-heartedly agree. In fact, Jones shared that she often refers to the actor’s eyebrows as Mary-Kate and Ashley (yes, as in the Olsen twins) because they are “both perfect but slightly different.”
For Ashley’s Balmain look, Jones used Diorshow Brow Styler to sketch in fine hairs along with Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Brow for added texture. “I’m obsessed with Dior brow products,” Jones noted, adding that she loves collaborating with Ashley to increase the wow-factor of her brows.
If you’re looking to get your brows as thick and full as Ashley’s, Jones has some advice. “Ensure the brows are symmetrical by sketching fine hairs in sparse areas with a thin brow pencil,” she said. “Next, take a brow gel that isn’t too tacky in texture. Texture implies a thickening softer finish.”
As for the rest of Ashley’s vibe for the Thursday show, Jones explained that the actor “wanted to have a complete look that felt very empowering.” To that end, Jones opted for Tom Ford Emotionproof Eye Color, Eve Lom Kiss Mix Colour in Demure, and a variation of cream products on Ashley's cheeks. “Use a contour cream product, a natural cream blush in a peach shade closest to your complexion,” Jones suggested. “Then top it off with highlight tone. A damp Beauty Blender will help you apply, blend, and set everything.”
We have no doubt that Ashley could pull off any look under the sun, but we’re definitely inspired by this one. If you’re right there with us, check out the products Jones mentioned below!
