You Can Recreate These 4 Golden Globes Beauty Looks For Under $85

We admittedly watched the Golden Globes from our couch. While wearing sweats. With second-day hair. But that doesn’t mean we can’t recreate some of our favorite stars' beauty looks from the red carpet for our next big night out. And the best part about it? We can do it without breaking the bank.

From Zoey Deutch’s flirty flip to Karen Pittman’s ’70s glam, here are four hair and makeup moments from the award show that you can easily recreate.

1. Zoey Deutch’s Flirty Hair Flip

Stylist Gregory Russell used Deutch’s jumpsuit(!!) as inspiration for her ’do.

“I was inspired by the dramatic lines and proportions of Zoey’s custom Fendi Couture Jumpsuit and wanted to create an elegant, sleek and structured look,” Russell said in a press release.

Starting with wet hair, Russell distributed some mousse from root to tip (in one-inch sections) then created a side part and blew out Deutch's hair with a small round brush, flipping out the ends as he went. He then applied some heat protectant before running through with a straightener. Finally, Russell added more mousse to the dry roots and topped it all off with some hair spray! Voilá!

3. Karen Pittman’s ’70s Glam

Make-up artist Vincent Oquendo referred to this look as “Bob Mackie muses with a blend of Cher and Diana Ross.” What's not to love about that?

For the eyes, Oquendo opted for a subtle cat-eye by blending a mixture of light brown matte shades in the crease and a smoked-out, winged liner. To finish, he applied a false lash strip to the upper lashes and a little bit of waterproof mascara on the bottom lashes. Pittman’s glam was topped off with a nude lip and a gel cream blush. Simple.

2. Joey King’s Low Pony

Ah yes, the beauty of a good pony. But hairstylist Dimitri Gainnetos knows that even the simplest ones take work. To recreate King’s low pony, start with damp hair and prep with a hydrating balm for moisture before blowdrying. Continue by flat ironing the hair in small sections before adding a side part. Carefully pull the hair into a low pony, securing with an elastic and finish with hairspray.

4. Bel Powley’s Rose-Toned Look

Makeup artist Jenna Kristina described Powley’s makeup as “a soft, and ethereal rose-toned look to offset the ‘60s hair and structured dress.”

All you need is a rose-toned lip, a dramatic cheek, a lightly filled in brow and of course a few shades of rosy shadow.
