  • Rebel Wilson, 40, revealed that she's achieved her weight loss goal one month early.

  • In January, the Pitch Perfect star announced that 2020 was her "Year of Health," and she set a goal weight of 75 kgs, or 165 pounds.

  • Wilson said her goals are more aligned with feeling healthy, not a number on the scale, but a measurable goal helped keep her on track.

Rebel Wilson has officially met her weight loss goal. On Sunday, the Pitch Perfect actress revealed on her Instagram Stories that she has hit her target after declaring 2020 her "Year of Health" in January. The best part? She met it early.

"Hit my goal with one month to spare!" Wilson captioned a photo of a scale, which read 74.6 kgs. "Even though it's not about a weight number, it's about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75 kgs."

Wilson, who has been keeping fans updated on her weight loss progress on Instagram since January 2020, wrote that she would be going Live on Tuesday to share the tips that worked for her during her transformation.

In May, Wilson shared on Instagram that her goal was to reach 165 pounds by the end of the year. She worked with a personal trainer, Jono Castano Acero, who shared the star's exact fitness plan in an interview with Today.

Acero said Wilson works out most days of the week, focusing on HIIT, mobility, and strength training. She also makes sure to get her steps in with morning hikes, while sometimes incorporating sprints to really get her heart rate going.

In addition to amping up her fitness, Wilson also checked into VivaMayr resort, a luxury wellness center in Vienna, Austria, in early 2019 to kick off her weight loss journey. According to People, Wilson has achieved "amazing results" with the Mayr Method, a restrictive program that claims to promote weight loss by improving gut health, after attending the center.

The actress told People that she recently visited the VivaMayr resort to ensure that she met her goals. "2021 is going to be an insanely busy year with project after project, so I wanted to come back to VivaMayr," Wilson said, adding that she hopes to "boost my immune system and lose my last two kilos."

In an interview with Drew Barrymore from November, Wilson said she previously suffered from emotional eating due to the stress of fame, causing her to consume 3,000 calories a day. Public health guidelines currently recommend a healthy range of 1,600 to 2,400 calories a day for adult women.

As Wilson approached her 40s, she decided 2020 was the perfect year to make healthy changes. And the star feels better than ever—although she still embraces her figure as is. "I love my curves and stuff. I don't think I’ll ever go too skinny, but I feel so much healthier," she told Barrymore. Go, Rebel!
