If there is one thing Rebel Wilson is known for it's bringing hilarity wherever she goes. No matter what she's doing, be it a red carpet or a workout, the Aussie star is always guaranteed to be up for a laugh.

Case in point: Getting in her daily squats.

While we may all typically grab a dumbbell to get that extra Jane Fonda burn, Rebel takes things one step further and goes for...a wombat!

Yep, you read that right. The Pitch Perfect star made a trip to the Sydney Zoo yesterday, while in Australia where she's spent lockdown. There, she met her furry friend and naturally decided to start doing squats, while posing for a photo with the country's native animal. She posted a video to her Insta-stories capturing all the lols.

In the clip, as she started getting her 12 reps in, Rebel said to her personal trainer Jono Castanoacero, who was with her on the trip, "I'm doing 15 kilo squats".

I mean how cute is this little guy? Heavy, but that little face is just everything!

Is it weird to want to workout with a wombat now? With supervision of course, as Rebel made sure to point out to her followers.

The wombat wasn't the only furry friend the actress made on the trip; she alsp posed with a Red Panda and the cutest Meerkats we've ever seen.

Not sure about you, but basically this is just making me want to take a trip to the Zoo now.

The comedian has been on the fitness track recently, a journey which she has been sharing with her 8 million followers, posting regular photos with her PT Jono:

While a wombat is definitely the most creative use of weights we've ever seen, it's basically all the fitspiration we need right now.
